Better Process Control School 

Who Should Enroll:
The Better Process Control School (BPCS) is an FDA-approved course that fulfills federal training requirements for supervisors involved in thermal processing, aseptic processing and packaging, acidified food processing, and container closure inspections. The course is recognized by both the FDA and USDA for processors of low-acid and acidified canned foods and reviewed by the FDA.

Designed for food industry professionals, this self-paced online course is required for many supervisory personnel and recommended for individuals involved in processing, sanitation, and container closure evaluations.
Course Fee:
The $450 course fee includes instruction and the required textbook (9th Edition: Canned Foods: Principles of Thermal Process Control, Acidification, and Container Closure Evaluation) shipped to your address. The course fee is the same for all participants, regardless of domestic or international status. Please note that once a participant begins the course, no refunds will be issued.

Please allow up to 5 business days for textbook to be shipped from the University of Tennessee.  It is highly recommended that you follow along in the textbook during the video presentations.
